Isn't there a law in public health which prohibits unregulated selling of foodstuffs and perishable goods in public places? i'm just thinking aloud because it was reported that the vendor of the "balanghoy maruya" which poisoned to death 27 pupils and hospitalized 104 others in mabini, Bohol will be facing criminal charges. if there is that law, isn't it possible to charge the local government officials for being remiss of their official duties in protecting the public welfare because of their failure to implement the law?

The boholanos should report the illegal balsting cap industry to the authorities to prevent dynamite fishing and become a supplier of bomba. Please tell each and very Baranggay to be vigilant and report all the illegal activities of the people trying to the beauty of Bohol.

Alot of things happen in Bohol this day...i remember back then it used to be peaceful and quite island and now other people trying to destroy it...

Reporter | Tuesday, 15 March 2005

Attention Boholanos – According to the Philippine Star investigative report the blasting cap backyard industry in Talisay Cebu have moved there to continue the illegal activity. Don’t let those illegal Cebuanos destroy the peace in Bohol. Philippine Star Investigative report: March 13 & 14, 2005 “Three months later, however, there was still no blasting-cap maker availing of the livelihood assistance, which was supposed to be given as loans. Oposa soon learned from the local police that some of the blasting-cap makers had left Talisay and moved to nearby Bohol.”
