Long live boholanos

Mabuhay amigos/amigas. I just returned from Sierra Bullones, Bohol in February. I spent 3 weeks with some wonderful filipinos all farmers, and poor. I decided to take all the women (about 9) shopping in Carmen on Market Day, rented a van with driver (a local) for 500 pesos and bought them all 3 Kilos of Fish any kind they chose as my Regalo, for their hospitality. Then asked the driver to take us to a supermarket. None there. He brought us to a small grocery stor and I bought the ladies shampoo, soap, etc. We had a Ball!!!!Elena B. in Seattle, WA. USA
